We open Historic Rivermill to organisers who run their own events and programmes, from a small weekend workshop to a full-scale festival. You bring the idea and the people; we bring the setting, the facilities and the know-how to run it at any size.

What we host
Events We Love to Welcome
From a handful of people to a few thousand, if it brings people together by the river we'd like to hear about it. A few of the kinds of events that work beautifully here:
Festivals & Large Events
Country festivals, community fairs and major days out, room for crowds, stages, stalls and parking. We've run them ourselves.
Markets & Makers Fairs
Weekend markets, makers' fairs and pop-up stalls along the lawns, with foot traffic from families already visiting.
Workshops & Classes
Hands-on workshops, craft sessions and short courses, for adults or families, in our barn or out in the open air.
Wellness & Community
Yoga and wellness mornings, support meet-ups and community gatherings, in a calm, natural riverside setting.
Kids' & Family Programmes
Sensory play, kids' activities and school-holiday programmes, with animals and play space built right in.
Performances & Music
Live music, performances and seasonal showcases against a Hinterland backdrop and golden-hour light.
We don't just host events, we throw our own. Our Cowboys & Country festival launched to a crowd of over 1,500, and organisers like Gumtree Kids and our Connected Caregivers mornings run their programmes here too. From a few dozen to a few thousand, there's room for yours.
