In Peru a chalán is a horseman of the Paso tradition, who schools the horse into the paso llano, the smooth four-beat gait the breed is known for.
Rodrigo trained our Peruvian Paso horses from 2023 to January 2026. While he was with us he rode our seasonal Peruvian horse shows and danced the marinera on horseback, his Paso keeping time with the dancer's handkerchief through every turn of the courtship.
He is a skilled horseman with Peruvian Paso horses, and we hold his work with ours in high regard.
