Cowboys & Country, a western festival in the Gold Coast Hinterland
Cowboys & Country is a western festival at Historic Rivermill, on the banks of the Coomera River at Mount Nathan in the Gold Coast Hinterland. It runs one Saturday a month, from 8am to 3pm. The day brings a whip-cracking show by Ringers Western, line dancing, country music, and a market row of local growers and makers, across the gardens and paddocks.
It makes an easy day out, whether you come on your own, with friends, as a couple, or with the family. Half an hour from central Gold Coast, an hour from Brisbane, and forty-five minutes from Logan or Tweed Heads, at the foot of Tamborine Mountain. Join the line dancing, take a turn on the bull, feed the alpacas and the turtles, ride a horse or a pony, and walk the market row. The café and the barbecue run all day.
Parking on site is $5 per vehicle, payable on arrival.
